BETHLEHEM – Bethlehem police received a call this morning from a distressed woman claiming that a young boy with a drum was trying to break into her manger. The caller, who identified herself as ‘Mary’, told police that she had given birth to a baby boy the night before and was awakened at dawn by the sound of a bass drum outside her window.


When asked to comment, Mary said, “Things have been pretty crazy lately, with the angels and the whole pregnancy thing, but this one takes the cake. I was in labor for like 18 hours yesterday and was looking forward to sleeping in this morning. At 7 A.M. I wake up to the sound of a drum.....

“The weirdest part about this whole case,” said Mary, “was when the ox and the lamb started keeping time. That was just freaky.”
