I found this cartoon by Indexed interesting.  First, because I, personally have not seen football as a reason to socialize...except for the Superbowl.  Second, because I don't think I've seen church as a reason to socialize since way back in high school.

(Oh, and for the record, I'm undefeated in two fantasy football leagues as of now.)
