Constructive criticism is good.  It really is.  It's good to be challenged and taken to task because that's where growth can occur.

But, sometimes, it's nice just to get affirmation, to be told you are loved and that what you say is good.  It's sometimes nice to have your own personal choir to preach to.  Perhaps this cartoon by David Hayward goes to an unhealthy place.  But there are times when I've felt like I needed something like this.
